The Manager of the non-Iranian pilgrims' affairs of Astan Quds Razavi said, "Coincident with the 36th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic revolution, 120 Muslims from Asian countries went on pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) and besides achieving spiritual favors visited Astan Quds Razavi centers."
This group of pilgrims were from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia who participated in the third Qur'anic competitions of the middle Asia and Caucasus and also some elite students of Jameat al-Mustafa al-Alemieh and enjoyed the different programs provided for them by the office of non-Iranian pilgrims' affairs of Astan Quds Razavi.
Baqeri stated, "Panegyrizing, Qur'an recitation, cultural contests, religious lectures, performing the evening congregation prayers, presenting cultural packs and products and visiting the exhibition of 'toward the progress' are among the programs provided for this group."
Baqeri remarked, "Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslemin Touhid Ibrahimi delivered his lecture to this group about 'the importance of going pilgrimage to the shrines of Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.)' and 'the necessity of unity among Muslims in the current conditions of the world relying on Qur'an'."
The manager of the non-Iranian pilgrims' affairs of Astan Quds Razavi reiterated, "some precious books including the glorious Qur'an in Azeri, Russian, and Arabic languages and also such books as 'Imam Reza (A.S.) in Sunnis' point of view', 'pilgrimage in Sunnis' point of view', 'the narration of awakening', 'the Islamic awakening', 'the beloved sanctum' and the books of Imam Khomeini (R.A.) and the Supreme Leader's speeches were awarded to these pilgrims."
